THAT ISN'T HIS FACE!!!
What nobody knows is that Georgie's "big, cheerful face" is actually the back of his head. His real face is covered up by the long, red hair. It's a small, hair-raising, horrifying face. Georgie reveals himself. People are appalled. They reject him.

He runs to his home which is just a small crawl space at the end of endless hallways. He hides there. He can hear the footsteps off in the distance get louder and louder until..
The door opens..
The man on the other side takes a hatchet and drops it into Georgie's head and kills him.
It's night. There is fire. There is wreckage spread everywhere. I don't know what happened. People emerge from the debris. The survivors gather in a small demolished house while remaining bodies are searched for. Just as it seems everyone is found, one more body crawls out of the wreckage. He is spotted. Helpers hurry over to pull him out. They pull out a man, however, he isn't a man. He isn't human. It's unclear what he is. He is tall and gangling. He has long, red hair and a big cheerful face. We'll call him Georgie.
