Security #2

Dream 9/5/2017

I am a part of the security team for one of the presidents speeches. John McCain is head of security. He's dyed his hair dark brown. It looks awkward. An Asian man tries to get past security with a silenced pistol. My friend, Tim, tries to wrestle the gun away from him but falls backward. I jump in and wrestle the man. We eventually get the gun away from him and take him away.

I am wearing dress pants and no shirt. Tim needed a shirt and jacket to wear so I let him borrow mine. I walk outside. I stroll the city streets looking for a store that can sell me a T-shirt. I know there is a mall nearby but I don't know how to get there. I look at the different stores as I pass them. Pizza shops, arcades, toy stores, pizza shops. There are a lot of pizza restaurants in this city.

I see my friend, Derek, walking toward me. I walk with him. He needs to get to the police station to do research on the Asian man with the silenced pistol. We hop in his car and drive. I look up at the Salesforce Tower in downtown Indianapolis. "You know what freaks me out?" I ask Derek. "Being on the top floor of that building. Derek shivers as if he can't stand the thought. "I hate heights," he tells me. I continue, "I went up there once, by myself, and that was the moment that I knew I was afraid of heights." Derek jumps in, "I couldn't go up there by myself."

We make it to the police station. We enter the place. The main room has several tables spread out, like a lunchroom. Dozens of police are sitting at the tables while others are walking around. The place is busy. Derek finds a computer, he sits down and begins researching. I hover over Derek's shoulder, my eyes pacing the computer screen. Just then, I look back and see the Asian man from the presidents speech. How did he get free? He pulls a gun. I once again try to wrestle the gun away from the man. Dream ends.

Cops In The Marsh

Dream 9/3/2017

My friend, Derek, and me are driving around town. We drive in an area that used to be rural but now is being fixed up by the city. New stores and restaurants are being added. I tell Derek that I wish they didn't keep doing this, I like the country the way it is, soon there won't be any country. We keep driving.

I see a Marsh. I haven't been to a Marsh in years. I make fun of the store. We laugh. I then remember that I like their cookies. I tell Derek to pull into Marsh. Before we pull into the grocery store, Derek wants some food. He enters a fast food restaurant, asks me what it's called. "I think it is Fazolis," I tell him. When we get closer we see that it is an Asian restaurant called "King Noodle" or something like that. Derek walks in and gets a huge dish of something. The amount of food that he buys is nuts.

We pull into Marsh. The grocery store has a parking garage so we go there. We enter the store and don't end up buying anything. I lose Derek while I am in there and eventually go back out to the car. As I am walking toward the car, I see a police cruiser parked next to us. When I get even closer, I see the cops searching through our belongings. I try to be as polite as possible. I hear the cop that is searching through the trunk say, "ok, we need to talk about these." He holds up a bunch of medicine. "Is it Sodium Bicarbonate?" I ask. "Yes it is," he replies in such a way as to hint that I am in big trouble. He walks over to me. I tell him that I have kidney failure and I am on a lot of medicine. He pulls a pen and notebook and asks what medicines I am currently taking. I go down the list, one by one. By the time I am finished, the cop understands that I am not a drug user or abuser.

At this time the parking garage is filled with kids and teenagers playing. The cop that was taking my information becomes more like a friend. He points to a wall, "hey do you see that spot right there?" He goes on to tell me something that I don't quite understand. He then borrows a soccer ball from one of the kids. He dribbles it down the lot and kicks it like a boss. The ball hits the wall with such power and force I can actually feel the vibrations from where I am standing. I now understand what he was telling me before. He caused a large dent in the wall by kicking a soccer ball. Brilliant. Dream ends.

Cowboy Men

Dream 3/10/2017

I am visiting a mall today. I enter at the far end of the mall where barely any stores are found. It is very quiet where I am. I have my open carry gun on my hip. I cannot however carry a gun on both hips because that is illegal and if I do, the security will shoot at me.

A shooting occurs, but not with me. A few bad men are having a shootout with the malls security. The security shoot and kill the bad men. I watch the whole thing. When no one is looking, I walk over and steal the dead men's guns. I tell my friend who is with me, "it's always a good idea to be near a shooting when it happens because you can always get free gear." I put a gun on each hip. The security in the mall sees me and starts shooting. My friend and I run outside.

When we get outside, we have a shooting competition with a few firefighters. The firefighters are about a mile away at their station, but we can see them from where we are. Each side has to shoot toward the other and see what they can hit. The person who hits the coolest thing wins. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Stranger

Dream 1/28/17

I'm headed to a lake that is hidden in the middle of some woods. The lake is on my old church property.

On the way there, I come to a four way stop. Two other cars also stop, both Jeeps. Then, I discover that the Jeeps aren't even on the road, but each are off the road quite a bit. So, I drive on. Down the road, just a bit, I see a bouncy house that is turned over. I park my Jeep and walk toward it. The bouncy house is on someone's private property. I don't see anybody around, so I climb on top of it. I lye on top of the bouncy house, while a bouncy slide lays on top of me, partially, my head is still out, I can still see. Then, two girls-probably in their late teens-come barreling down the slide and crash into the bouncy castle that I am lying on. The slide tips over, as well as the bouncy castle and we all sort of hit the ground, not hard. The girls start laughing. I am afraid of what they will do now that they discovered a stranger on their property. They continue laughing, even after they see me. They don't seem to  mind. I tell them, "I saw your bouncy castle was tipped over so I decided to come lye down on it. They continue laughing, just like teenage girls. I tell them that I'll leave now.

I start looking for a way out of their property, but an electric fence has appeared. I wonder how I got onto the property in the first place. I find a gate but it is closed. I look back at the girls, now walking inside their house, and signal to them to open the gate. The gate slowly starts to open. I walk out and start running toward my Jeep. It seems so much further away than it was before.

A little girl, probably the teenage girls' sister, is dribbling a basketball down the street. She seems to be following me. I'm not terribly fond of children. I get to my Jeep, she gets there as well. I get in my vehicle and she gets in too. I drive on. As I pass her house, I see her father out front looking around, probably for her. I immediately am taken with fear. Have I kidnapped this girl? Her father will be so angry. I tell her to get out and run back home. She does. I speed away. I am afraid she is going to tell her dad that a stranger let her ride in his car. She will be able to describe my red Jeep to him. He'll call the police and they will start searching the area. I have to get away. I forgo the lake at this point. I can go another time. I speed fast down the road, trying to get back home. My house is far away in the country, the police won't find me, as long as I lay low for a while. I stop at an intersection. A car comes charging through at such a high speed, I wonder what is wrong with people nowadays? Dream ends.

Black Powder

Nightmare 1/13/2015

A group of black guys don't like the fact that my family is white.

I try to explain to them that I have no problems with people of color. I even went to prom with a black girl. They don't care. I'm still white.

They pull out a gun and aim it my way. I start to walk away slowly, knowing that at any second, I will be dead. I hear many shots go off, but no bullets hit me. I fall to the ground and pretend that I've been hit. I try my best to hold my breath but it is difficult. They know that I am still alive. I jump up and run away. They never catch me.

They make their way to my sisters house. She calls the police and begs them to come quickly. When they arrive, over an hour later, they find my sister and her entire family murdered. Nightmare ends.

I wake up.

Crimes Unknown

Dream 11/20/2014

I'm in prison for crimes unknown.

The guards are opening the cell doors one at a time for the prisoners to go to breakfast. Prisoners are walking by our cell in droves. Our cell door is not open yet. A few tall, muscular and hostile-looking prisoners come by our cell and taunt my cellmate. They laugh at the fact that we have a welcome mat in our cell. I call one of the guys "dumbass." He tells me that he is going to beat me up when the door opens. I stand close to the door, I don't back down. It opens. I walk right up to them. They beat me up. They beat me up good.

Off to breakfast or lunch or whatever it is, I find that the only thing the prison serves it's prisoners is ice cream. I grab a pint of strawberry.

I go to the wardens office. We have something in common, we both attended The Honor Academy. We become friends. We talk about The HA and almost nothing else.

My sister, Morgan, becomes imprisoned for crimes unknown. She becomes my cellmate. Morgan, the warden and I sit in our cell eating ice cream and talking about the year we spent in the Honor Academy. Dream ends

The Van

Dream 3-13-14

My friends and me are driving a Volkswagen Bus.

We drive around town looking for items that people have thrown away. One man's trash is another man's treasure. We find several items here and there. I climb up front.

My uncle, who is up front, becomes angry with me. We end up in the backseat punching each other. We fight so vigorously that a fire starts in one of the seats. My friend pulls the van to the side of the road and everyone jumps out.

I voice my concern that the police are going to find us. We run in separate directions. I run across a country field to my house. The next day, we return to the van. surprisingly, there wasn't much damage done. The man whose house we parked the van, walks out in a fury. He tells us, "if you don't get that thing out of here, then I'm gonna call the cops."

We jump into a nice two story truck that's parked next to the van. It's full of computers and other gadgets. There are firefighter slide down poles falling from the second story to the bottom. As far as I know, we never return to the van. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Jailbird

Dream 2-6-14

A friend and me are in a toy store. Walking down one of the aisles, we decide to scale the store shelves and climb into the ceiling. My friend goes first. He climbs the toy shelf and successfully makes it. My turn. I climb the toy shelf and just as I'm about to pull myself up into the ceiling, the tile comes loose and I fall down into the toys, knocking over the shelf.
The employees of the store come and tell me that I have to pay a vacations worth of money for the damage that I caused. I don't argue. I just pay it.
Now I am a criminal. The authorities are after me everywhere I go. They're chasing me. In this city, there are many hotels. I walk into one and head toward the elevators. I press the "up" button. Ding. I get into the elevator and press the 47th floor.
I am now on the top floor. The cops are just minutes behind me. I must find an escape. I find a door to the outside. I walk onto the roof of the hotel. I am 47 stories above the city. Just as the cops get to me, I jump. I now have a parachute, I pull it and glide toward the ground of another hotel. In a James Bond-like manner, I land on the sidewalk, take off the parachute and brush myself off.
I walk into another hotel to the front desk. I purchase a room for the night. They give me a room. I make my way up to the sixth floor where my room is. In the lobby on the sixth floor is a restaurant, in fact, there are restaurants on every floor. I get to my room and finally feel comfort that no one knows where I am.
I now have a friend with me. An accomplice. Julia Roberts.
Julia and I walk aimlessly through the hotel. For no reason, we just walk. We come to a buffet on one of the floors. I steal a roll. I feel bad for stealing, so I pay the cashier. He says I gave him more money than the roll is worth, so I can take some more food. I take another roll. I come to a sandwich buffet where there are several options for meat, cheese and bread. I grab a handful of meat, followed by a handful of cheese, then I grab two pieces of rye bread and finish it off. I eat the sandwich as me and Julia wander the hotel.
The cops find out where I'm staying. They come for me. As they make it to the sixth floor where my room is, I walk out the front door to a black Cadillac where I find Julia. I get into the car and Julia and I drive off never to be seen again. Dream ends.

I wake up.
