Treatment

Dream 3/11/2018

I have dialysis treatment. The clinic is inside an arcade. Earlier, I played a game in a secret corner of the arcade. The game wanted me to place three objects in the right order; a lion (yellow), electricity (blue) and fire (red).

Halfway through my treatment, I do something in which I am not supposed to do. I unhook myself from the dialyzer machine. Much of my blood is still in the device and will most likely clot. The lack of blood in my body causes me weakness.

I walk to the arcade game in the secret corner. After a few tries of putting the three objects in the wrong order, I finally get it correct. For my reward, I am given a car in another arcade game that looks like a leopard made by Hot Wheels.

I leave the clinic/arcade and find myself on a dusty road in the middle of nowhere. My weakness is causing me trouble. I hitch a ride from a passing stranger, who takes me back to a different clinic. I walk through the door, where the nurses can see me, and collapse onto the floor. "I need treatment," I say in a hushed but urgent voice. Dream ends.

Stranger

Dream 1/28/17

I'm headed to a lake that is hidden in the middle of some woods. The lake is on my old church property.

On the way there, I come to a four way stop. Two other cars also stop, both Jeeps. Then, I discover that the Jeeps aren't even on the road, but each are off the road quite a bit. So, I drive on. Down the road, just a bit, I see a bouncy house that is turned over. I park my Jeep and walk toward it. The bouncy house is on someone's private property. I don't see anybody around, so I climb on top of it. I lye on top of the bouncy house, while a bouncy slide lays on top of me, partially, my head is still out, I can still see. Then, two girls-probably in their late teens-come barreling down the slide and crash into the bouncy castle that I am lying on. The slide tips over, as well as the bouncy castle and we all sort of hit the ground, not hard. The girls start laughing. I am afraid of what they will do now that they discovered a stranger on their property. They continue laughing, even after they see me. They don't seem to  mind. I tell them, "I saw your bouncy castle was tipped over so I decided to come lye down on it. They continue laughing, just like teenage girls. I tell them that I'll leave now.

I start looking for a way out of their property, but an electric fence has appeared. I wonder how I got onto the property in the first place. I find a gate but it is closed. I look back at the girls, now walking inside their house, and signal to them to open the gate. The gate slowly starts to open. I walk out and start running toward my Jeep. It seems so much further away than it was before.

A little girl, probably the teenage girls' sister, is dribbling a basketball down the street. She seems to be following me. I'm not terribly fond of children. I get to my Jeep, she gets there as well. I get in my vehicle and she gets in too. I drive on. As I pass her house, I see her father out front looking around, probably for her. I immediately am taken with fear. Have I kidnapped this girl? Her father will be so angry. I tell her to get out and run back home. She does. I speed away. I am afraid she is going to tell her dad that a stranger let her ride in his car. She will be able to describe my red Jeep to him. He'll call the police and they will start searching the area. I have to get away. I forgo the lake at this point. I can go another time. I speed fast down the road, trying to get back home. My house is far away in the country, the police won't find me, as long as I lay low for a while. I stop at an intersection. A car comes charging through at such a high speed, I wonder what is wrong with people nowadays? Dream ends.

Red Balloon

Dream 8/30/2016

My sister, brother-in-law, nephews and me are driving a pickup truck down the road that runs past my childhood church.

My sister and nephews are in the cab of the truck, while I sit in the bed and my brother-in-law, Chad, is floating, crossed legged, down the road behind us. I hold a red balloon by the string in my hands. I slowly release the string little bits at a time until I am at the end. The balloon catches the wind and begins to pull me out of the truck.

A white car is driving right behind Chad and is annoyed at the pace we are going. It speeds up and swerves around us like a drunk, crazy person. I let go of my balloon. My sister stops the truck. I jump out and chase the car as far as I can screaming, "You piece of shit! YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" The car drives off into the distance.

I begin to walk back when I see Chad lying lifeless on the pavement. Dream ends.

A City in Heaven

A Dream From My Past

I'm driving through a redwood forest. As I'm going along, a policeman turns his red and blues on. I pull to the side of the road. He asks me to come and get into his car. As crazy as it sounds, I don't think I'm in trouble but at the same time, I don't know whats going on. I get in the car. We begin to drive.

We drive until out of the blue the forest subsides and we are now in a city. On one side of the road is an ocean so beautiful it looks like it's made of crystal. In the ocean are an array of giant ships the size of cruise ships, maybe bigger. On the other side of the road is the city. The most beautiful designed buildings you'd ever see. So majestic. I've never seen anything like it before. It must be Heaven. Dream ends.

Rupert

Dream 2-16-14

My friends and I drive to The Incredible Pizza Company to have an evening of fun. The place is packed with people. We don't stay. We leave.

A couple days later, I am at a friends house. He has a small, pet bird. I have my cat, Rupert, with me. My cat chases after the bird and eats it. My friend is furious beyond words. He stabs Rupert with a knife. I take the cat and run.

I run back to The Incredible Pizza Company. There is barely anyone here. Many of the games that were there earlier are now gone. I can't very well hide here so I get back into my car and drive off. I drive down the road trying to find my way home. I don't know if Rupert is going to survive his injuries.

I see red and blue flashing lights turn on behind me. I pull over. Three men get out of the car and approach mine. One of the men immediately ask me to get out of the car. I ask to see their credentials. They get angry with me and demand I exit the vehicle. I know something isn't right. I ask them if they want to see the kidney transplant scar on my left side. They do. I show them. They find it cool. I ask them if they would like to see the bigger scar on my right side. They're excited. I tell them that It would be easier for me to show them if they were on the passenger side of the vehicle. They begin to walk around. As they do, I shift the car into drive and get out of there. They don't attempt to chase me. Dream ends.

I wake up.
