The Oracle

Dream 5/31/2017

Several classmates and me are inside a compound. The place looks like the chocolate room in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory but on the outside. At one end of the compound is a tower. The tower is gated off. At the top of the tower lives the oracle.

Without any warning, the gate to the tower opens. Everybody notices it. We feel as if we are being summoned by the wise old woman at the top of the tower. A friend of mine, Jordan, walks toward the gate and mentions something about Wolfgang Halbig and Sandy Hook. I tell him that I agree.

We climb the stairs of the tower until we reach the door to the oracle. We knock. The oracle answers but does not open the door. We tell her that the gate has opened. She tells us there has been some mistake. We beg her to let us in. Everybody is talking at one time and it is hard for her to hear us. I look through a crack in the door and see her eyes and I ask her if she will let us inside. The door opens. We all walk into the oracles room. Then when we are all inside, a little black girl, at the end of the line, tries to climb over the door but falls backwards outside the room. The oracle walks out to see if she is hurt. The girl is fine. Dream ends.

I wake up.
