Sky Tubes

Dream 5/1/2018

There is a building in which I am not allowed. I can't be a part of the business that goes on inside. The industry of choir. The company of show. The building is big. Inside, there is a giant auditorium where the choir practices.

Somehow, I am offered a job in the choir. I will be paid $25.00/hour. When I walk through the ornate halls and reach the grand auditorium, I find that all who are in the choir are people I knew in high school. The man who directs the choir is a teacher from high school, Mr. Long.

In my high school gymnasium, the choir performs. Behind the bleachers, a vast playground of sky tubes is set up, the same kind that snotty toddlers crawl through at McDonald's or Chuck E. Cheese. A boy named Jordan is planning to sabotage the choir's performance. He begins to climb the sky tubes. I follow. At the top, it is more like a building with rooms. I sneak quietly through the halls searching for Jordan.

The play place comes crumbling down. I believe Jordan was the cause. Mr. Long is furious, and he begins yelling at me and others for the accident. I meet him later after he has cooled down. We sit at a machine that smashes items. I stick pieces of aluminum inside and watch it slowly crush them. While sitting there, I explain to Mr. Long what really happened that caused the playground to fall. That a boy named Jordan meant to sabotage his performance. He is happy that I told him the truth. Dream ends.

Freddy

Nightmare 7/25/2017

My mom and me are shopping at Target. She tells me that she needs to use the restroom. I tell her to hurry up because we are planning to see "Dunkirk" at the movie theater and we can't be late. In the men's clothing section, I take off my shirt and hang it up on a rack. I hope that nobody steals it. I walk back to the back corner of the store to see if my mom is done. When I arrive at the restrooms, I see a line of women. My mom still hasn't used the restroom and by the look of the line, it's gonna take awhile. She suggests we just see the movie Thursday instead. I'm disappointed. I was really anticipating this movie. While still waiting for my mom, I walk down an aisle that contains claw machines and other arcade games. I then see a man with a fedora and a green and red striped sweater. His skin is badly burnt. I recognize him. Freddy Krueger. He says something to me but I blow him off. He gets angry at first but then walks away sad.

My sister is living at a friends house. The house has many people living in it. I am going to stay there awhile. I ask her where the restroom is but then I see one just off from her room. She says that I shouldn't use that one because it belongs to another girl. I should use the family bathroom.

A group of us are walking into a building, however, I can't be sure what building it is. I take on a girls point of view. I walk through double doors. I am in a completely different place. When I look back, the double doors are gone along with the group of friends that came here with me. The place I am now in looks like it was decorated by Chuck E. Cheese. I walk down several carpeted flights of stairs. Nobody is here. This place is void of life. Although, I feel someone watching me. I think I even know who it is. Freddy Krueger. I realize that I am inside a dream. I see him. He comes for me with his razor sharp blades. He blows air from his mouth my direction and I am swept away as I found myself inside a tornado. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Pasqually

Dream 7/31/2015

My friend Robby and I walk up the basement stairs to the first-floor landing.

On the right side of the stairs are shelves of stuffed animals. We observe them as we walk. Three of them are six feet tall and still in their box. I point out that these were won by our friend Tim. Behind them is a stuffed animal twice their size, about twelve or thirteen feet tall. I show Robby the one that I added to the collection. It sits on a shelf near the door upstairs. I call him Chuck E. Cheese but his real name is Pasqually, a little Italian chef with a full mustache. He is by far my favorite.

Before our eyes, the toys come to life. I have a gorilla at my feet that wants to be held. The six-foot animals are looking at me. I raise my hands, growl, and beat my chest. They become angry and try to escape their boxes but they only tumble over. Robby wants to stay but I don't. I've seen enough. I escape through the upstairs door. The gorilla tries to follow me. I can't get the door closed without squishing him. I nudge him with my foot through the door before trying to close it. I have to do this a few times before it finally works.

I am met by a grumpy, old man. He wants to go to the basement. I let him through. He probably won't enjoy his trip down. Dream ends.

This River Is Wild

Dream 3/17/2015

Today is my birthday.

I decide to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Although it's a place for kids, I do enjoy the atmosphere. I talk to my friends about how somebody needs to create a place for adults that has the games and the tubes that you crawl through. Somebody says that there is such a place. It's called 'Dave and Busters.'

The next day, my mother takes me to her work. (I guess it's take your child to work day.) She works at a Brokerage firm where people buy stocks. She takes me upstairs, sits me down, hands me a piece of paper full of different companies to invest in, and tells me to buy some stocks. I pick the companies that I want to invest in but when I turn around, my mom is gone. I search all over the building but cannot find her. I know she is hiding from me.

I leave.

I walk into a neighborhood that I don't recognize. An SUV full of gangbangers pulls up. I hide in the bushes. They have a dog. It comes right to me. I push it away. They go into the house and then walk back out. They get into their car and drive away.

I get out of the bush and walk behind the house. There is a river. I jump in and start to swim downstream but then I see the rapids up ahead. I swim back against the flow. On the banks of the river are a bunch of flotation devices. I grab an inner tube. I brace myself for a ride. I fly down the rapids. I'm surprised I didn't fall off. I come to a clearing. I jump off and make my way to land. I'm on a mountain. I can see an entire city in front of me. There are roller coasters all around me. One roller coaster has a gap in its track. The coaster jumps off one track and lands on the other. I think about my mother. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Ball Pit

A Dream From My Past

(I have had this dream around ten times in my life. I don't know why it re-occurs.)

I am walking down a hallway. I believe it is the hallway in my home. I walk until i come to a door on my left that is open. I look into the room. Inside is a ball pit, much like the one you would find at a Mcdonalds or Chuck E. Cheese. Although I can't see it, I know there is something in there. I can feel it looking at me.
Suddenly, I hear a noise which I can only describe as what you would hear out of the machine that shoots out the baseball at a batting cage. A number of balls fly up in the pit. I still don't see anything but I know it's there. Dream ends.

I wake up.
