Convergence

Dream 3/17/2017

     My school takes a day to visit an amusement park that is located in a valley. Standing up on a hill, you can look down and see the rides, booths and lights of the park. At the top of the hill is a giant buffet. One buffet has been overlooked and forgotten about and the food has become old and rotten. Some guys that I am with smell the food and laugh about how bad it is.

     I study sharks. I have a partner. Her and I study sharks together, or we are supposed to. One day she gets into a boat and takes off without me. I run and jump off the end of the dock to make it into the boat but miss wildly. I fall into the water. Behind me is hundreds of people watching me fail. We rediscover a bull shark which has been thought to be extinct. We film him swim around underwater. He can't seem to close his mouth.

     I am helping with the concession stand. My job is to fill the drinks. The way that I know what drink to pour is the manager will put a colored dot on the cup. Depending on what color the dot is shows me what drink to pour. It takes me a few tries to get it down, but I eventually get the hang of things. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Hungry Hungry SHARKS!!!

Dream 4/10/2016

I'm having lunch in the cafeteria at school.

The cafeteria is on the ocean. The tables float on top of the water. My friend, Derek, sits down next to me. The conversation turns to sharks. Derek informs us that their has never been a shark attack here. Right when he ends that sentence, a shark comes busting through the table and lunges toward Derek. Derek is able to avoid it. No one is hurt. Dream ends.

Dream 2/24/2015

We are at a public pool, only, this pool is a bit more sophisticated.

It's partly indoor and outdoor. The slide is actually a small building that you take the indoor stairs to get to the top. And if you want a real thrill, there is a cliff jump above the slide. Good luck.

I take the slide. It's packed with people. I crash into the water with super speed. I jump up in celebration. A bunch of older guys see me. They start pointing and laughing. I try to ignore them. I get out of the pool and they follow me. They grab me, push me to the ground and start kicking me. All because they believe I'm not cool enough.

Days later, my brother-in-law, Chad wants to go back to the pool. I tell him I don't want to but I don't have the guts to tell him why. Dream ends.

I wake up.
