Leap

Dream 10/17/2016

     A guy that I work with, a person that my mind created and I walk down to the bridge that crosses the Ohio river. We dare each other to jump. It's a 70-ft drop. My work buddy has a leg cast that covers the entirety of his leg. He climbs up onto the edge of the bridge and makes the leap to the water below. Me and the remaining guy don't think he made it. The 70-ft drop was iffy enough, but the fact that his leg was already messed up brings doubt to my mind. We hear cheering below. We look down and see our friend climb up onto a smaller bridge, raise his arms in the air and give us the "okay." Dream ends.

Blind Wedding

Dream 10/27/2015

I'm getting married to a girl I knew in high school.

     I'm trying to make it to my wedding. My sister, two friends and I jump into a boat. We float on down a winter river. My sister says she knows the way.  As we go, we find that the river splits into several different paths. We go down one but find it's not right, so we turn around. We do this several times. One path leads us to the ocean. 

Below our boat is a giant squid. Me and the guys grab what we can and start wailing on it. We kill it.

     My sister starts yelling at me for being lost even though it was her that got us there. She tells me that I am supposed to conduct the choir. WHAT?!? I didn't know this. Who would make the groom conduct the choir? What kind of wedding is this? She tells me to call my fiancé. I feel a little weird calling her because I haven't seen her since high school. That's right, we haven't seen each other and we're getting married. I try calling her but when I dial the number, the only thing showing on my phone is 0V0. Dream ends.

The Fathers House

Dream 10-1-13

My sister and I are walking through a patch of wooded area. A wild river runs through these woods. Snow has covered the ground and the trees. All of a sudden, a family on a raft come plowing through the river. We think to ourselves, "this is strange, it is winter, why would they be rafting in the winter?" Their raft gets caught on a patch of ice. They ask for our help. I walk down and get the raft unstuck. They thank us.

Suddenly we are in a cabin. We get to know the family that we just helped. We talk about our careers. Everyone in their family is a doctor. They ask me what I am. I'm too embarressed to say. I tell them that I am going into ministry. They say that they are christians as well. My sister asks what church they go to. They say, "Casa De La Padre." My sister says how shes heard that is such a great place. Dream ends.
