To the Stars

Dream 4/22/2016

I'm at a baseball tournament today, watching my friend Tim play.

Tim has a break so we take a few steps over to NASA Headquarters to check out their new space ship. We walk up the stairs to where the ship is being constructed. We're overly joyed. We take a small device in our hands which is a time machine and travel back to 1967. (In my dream, America landed on the moon in 1965.) We watch as they build the first space shuttle (Which doesn't make sense being that it's 1967). We put on the first ever astronaut helmets. The feeling is euphoric. We travel back to modern times where we are met with Tim's father. We tell him about our travels to the past. We go on to share on knowledge of the NASA space program with him. Dream ends.

Dream 3/17/2016

I've been assigned a mission to travel into space. It will fun. It will be dangerous. Let's do it.

I am not alone. A group of about ten will travel with me, including a few kids. Our ship looks much like a house; with couches, beds, a kitchen, and windows to the darkness outside.

We blast off.

We travel eons and find a mysterious planet with no name. We land there. It is inhabited by humans. We walk into an apartment complex. A terrible storm is brewing outside. Most of the doors are closed or boarded up but one door is open. We walk inside. A mother brings her daughter to us and begs us to take her. She fears for her daughters life due to the ungodly storms that occur on this planet.

Some astronauts are exploring other areas of the planet. They come across an arena-like place with no roof. Suddenly, several lights come from above. Four giant monsters are lowered into the arena. The astronauts fight them, finally subduing them. We take two of the monsters prisoner and bring them aboard the ship. We must take off and return home with the information we have gathered.

The giant monsters are in shackles. One of the girls gets too close to a monster and he grabs her. The rest of the crew are watching a movie. I start yelling to get everyone's attention. The monster attempts to rape the girl. The crew rushes over. The giant throws the girl around like a rag doll. Perhaps the crew saves her, perhaps they don't. I can't remember. Dream ends.

Dream 3/16/2016

I think I am on a field trip.

My friend, David, and I prank call the WWE. John Cena is filming a promo. Our call interrupts their shoot. David has the phone. He makes a bunch of weird noises and in the background, I imitate the lost astronaut (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sgc1I9sjfc). The WWE is pissed. Dream ends.

Homecoming

Dream 2/19/2016

Tonight is homecoming.

My old school is doing a celebration of all the classes together including those who have graduated. I'm getting ready at my house. I am in the upstairs bathroom. My mom is downstairs. All of a sudden, my phone turns on by itself and starts playing an audio clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sgc1I9sjfc). The clip is an audio sound byte of a supposed woman astronaut that Russia sent into space in 1961. Her space flight encountered problems and her capsule went up in flames. The clip is a recording of her last moments. It is unsettling. It scares me. I run downstairs. My mom is moving an old camper out back. I finish getting ready in the camper bathroom.

I have to be at homecoming by 8 o'clock. I look at my watch. It's 7:56. I stress out and start yelling at my mom, telling her that we need to leave now! 

The school crowds all of its students and alumni onto risers in the gymnasium. My nephews are in pre-k and kindergarten. They stand in front. The school has made food for us but they didn't make enough. They say the alumni can eat first. I grab a bowl and bring it over to my nephews. I let them eat from it. Dream ends.
