City In Ruins

Dream 12.19.2017

The city in which I live has been decimated by a bomb. Soldiers have taken rule over the area. I don't know whether they are good or bad. My family and I hide in a mansion apartment. We turn off all the lights in the house except for the room in which we stay, so as not to arouse suspicion. This room has no windows so we are safe. Occasionally, I sneak through the remains of the city to hunt for supplies.

We are running low on food and other items. Somehow, I am able to see that Glenn Beck is living in a thriving community across the city near the sea. I feel that if we can make it to him, we will survive. We make the trek. When we arrive, everybody is eating grilled chicken. My mouth waters at the sight. Dream ends.

Boom!

Dream 2/18/2015
The city, in which I stand, has been destroyed.
Buildings have been reduced to rubble. In the rubble we hide. We know it is coming. We feel the vibrations of it's footsteps. Boom. Boom. One after another, we feel it. Boom. Boom. It gets stronger and stronger.
We see it.
A Tyrannosaurus Rex.
I watch the children as the warrior fights the giant beast. They fight. Blood falls. He slays the dinosaur. It falls dead to the ground. We celebrate with silence.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
We feel it. We hear it. It's coming, again. We see it miles away, destroying buildings in its path.
It's coming. Dream ends
I wake up.

Rubble

Dream 2-15-14

I'm walking through a ruined city. There are friends here with me. We have an enemy on the other side of town that we are trying to avoid. We come to a narrow street with rubble lining the road. We hear our rivals approaching. We quickly run into one of the buildings and quietly hide. We lower all the shutters and blinds. The sound of the enemy becomes louder and louder. We finally see several men march down the narrow street. Their shadows travel through the shutters. I'm very scared that they're going to find us. They don't.

I walk by myself to the enemy lines. I don't see anybody. I grab a large bone off the ground. It's shaped like an African Shofar. I run through the enemy territory. I don't know what my mission is. All of a sudden, I see a soldier. He's not good. I bash him over the head with the bone. He falls. I keep running. I make it to a barn. There I find another foe. Rather this time, I talk the young man into joining us. He does. I hand him my bone and tell him to kill anyone who tries to get us. We make a run for the ally camps. Bashing heads as we go. We finally make it. Dream ends.

I wake up.

Much The Way

A Dream From My Past

The Apocalypse has come. Rumaging through the rubble, I come across my old hometown shopping mall. I walk through the various stores. Almost everything has been taken. I come across an old record store. A few pieces of vinyl lay on the floor. I pick up a record sleeve, wipe the dust from its face and read the records band, "Much the Way." Dream ends.

I wake up.
