Non Compos Mentis

Dream 10/21/2017

My family and me are in Europe. I am in need of a kidney transplant. They match me with a younger boy. I have the transplant. I find out, not only did they give me one of the boy's kidneys, but they took half of my brain and transplanted it into the boy's head. We are now the same person in two different bodies.

I walk up to the kid, who is sitting on a bench with two other boys. "Me and you are the same person, you know," I say to him. He acknowledges the bizarre fact. "We should go to Guinness World Records or something, I'm sure this has never happened before," I say.

We walk down a European alleyway at night. A few bad men jump us and start shooting. A couple of passerby's die but my family is okay.

We return home to America. The young kid is now my half sister's son. I'm guessing she adopted him. He is recovering from the shooting. He has a broken jaw.

The effect that the brain transplant has had on the boy is scary. He starts acting like a comic book villain. His face is distorted. He chases me around roof tops throwing spears my direction. The spears have fire on them. We run around buildings. Down Hallways. Through city streets. He continuously tries to kill me. Dream ends.

Euro-Trip

Dream 5/26/2017

My friends Phil and Jake and their family are taking a trip over to Europe. They have asked me if I want to come along. I say yes. I go home and pack my stuff and head to their house. On the way, I remember that I cannot go because I have dialysis three times a week. I cannot miss a treatment. When I get to their house I tell them that I cannot go. Dream ends.

I wake up.

In The Arms of Love

Dream 11/3/2015

My family is vacationing in a foreign land. Possibly Europe.

We walk into a town with snow blanketed streets. A man owns the whole place. He rents apartments out to vacationers. We seem to be the only people staying. My aunts, uncles, and cousins are here as well. Each family gets its own apartment. I walk into mine. It's luxurious. Fit for a king. I walk into the bathroom. It's the size of a gymnasium, with a big open space in the middle and all of the bathtubs, showers, sinks, and toilets line the sides of the room.  Near the entrance of the bathroom sit a few hot tubs where a lot of the family are hanging out.

My cousin points to a bar on one side of the bathroom. He suggests a drink. I tell him to find the strongest thing they've got. We settle on a bottle called "Cognac Hardline." It sounds like the hard stuff. He pours me a glass, but pours way too much. I tell him to stop. I know I won't finish the glass but that's ok. I take a sip. The drink is so hard that it has no taste. I can't pinpoint the flavor. I take a few more drinks.

Suddenly, I am a woman and I see myself from a third person view. She is attracted to a man who lives in this town. She sees him in a snowy field dancing by himself. She walks to him. She has had too much Cognac Hardline to walk straight. She collapses into his arms. He doesn't know where she is staying so he carries her through the town. Her half opened eyes catches a glimpse of the architecture as they trod through the streets. It's beautiful. Reminds her of 1930's Krakow, Poland.

They enter his apartment. His neighbors are having a poker night. Drinking and playing cards. Too loud. He quietly closes their door. He gets to his apartment where he lays her down on the bed. He'll most likely take the couch tonight. Dream ends.

I wake up.

War Is Hell

Dream 2-13-14

We're in another country. Possibly France. I think it is World War II.

My company and I are cautiously sneaking through an empty European village. It's downcast and raining. We're in the top floor of a second story building. I think I hear the enemy creeping around on the outside balcony. I ask a fellow soldier to hand me his 9mm. I load a fresh magazine. I'm hoping the girls in the company are impressed with my gun skills. I peek out the door. I see a German. I shoot! I miss. I shoot again! I miss again. This gun isn't working for me. I take a shotgun from the girl behind me. I pump. I peek around the corner. The enemy is in my sights. I shoot. Target terminated.

Our company moves on. Now in another building, we split up. My group of men wait on the second floor of this building while the other group completes their mission. We're here in case they need backup. by myself, I walk down the stairs. I find a kitchen. It isn't my kitchen but since the town is empty I feel that I can take what I want. I take some food and bring it back to my group of men.

I look out the second story window across the small village. I see the rest of our company running back to the rendezvous point. I jump from the second story window to the wet ground below. I begin to catch up to my company taking out the enemy as I go. Dream ends.

I wake up.
